Okay, my bf is trying to quit smoking and doing drugs at the same time. So now he’s going through withdrawal– headaches, feeling sick in the morning. How can I help him? We can only talk through MSN for the next 2 weeks… and what can he eat that will be fine when he’s feeling sick?
We don’t have the money to afford going to detox right now and it’s marijuana by the way– a long time of it, but he’s strong and I know he’ll pull through on his own!! No need for rehab/detox.. or anything like that (which we can’t afford!) I don’t know what to do! I tell him im proud of him, i ask how he’s feeling and listen to him when he needs to talk! i I dont know what else to do to make this easier for him!!
This is a serious question and i dont appreciate your stupid comments.. thanks to those who actually TRY!

ok so i’ve been smoking bud for about two and half years. it started out like once or twice a month, then weekly, then a few times a week, then it progressed to every day. I was not addicted, however. i was afraid i was gonna be addicted so i decided to stop for six months, and did so without any problems at all (no cravings, withdrawal symptoms, etc) so i decided to start smoking again once i convinced myself i wasn’t addicted. also, i’m still on the honor roll in school and i’m still starting forward on the varsity basketball team, so it hasn’t been detrimental in any of those aspects. Once of my friends felt they had the right to nark me out, and sent an annonymous tip to my parents that i was smoking, and they found out, and now are doing drug tests to ensure i don’t smoke anymore. i can’t convince them that it isn’t bad for you, because i had a full physical at the doctors office, complete with x-rays, ultrasounds, even an MRI (my mom is a doctor) to show my parents i wasn’t unhealthy because of it, and all of the tests came back excellent and the doctor said i was in perfect health. i don’t want to stop smoking, a lot of my friends smoke, it gives me a good way to relax, and it’s not unhealthy. what should i do, my life is boring as hell now?
i can’t smoke behind they’re back because they do drug tests and they’ll know if i smoke
i don’t need a hobby i’m in a band and we’re really good we just won a competition in the city and we’re waiting on a possible record deal

okay i went through marijuana withdrawal twice. the first time it went away in a week. the second time it took a little longer. today was my 32nd day without weed. i just tried it today just to see if i would get any bad effects again, and i did. i feel anxiety now and i threw up earlier. after i threw up i felt a little bit better but i still feel the anxiety. i think ive triggered the withdrawal again and im scared. i know ive said i quit before, but i never started again, i just tried it today. i am NEVER touching marijuana ever again for the rest of my life. will these feelings go away quickly? im starting to think im going to go through what i did the last time and i really dont want to. i mean its been a month. please help me ease my mind i feel so uncomfortable.

i have been smoking marijuana for about 3 years every single day, multiple times a day, and i feel like im getting dumber and less social< i know a lot of people think its easy to quit but my family has a history of addiction and im certain i have a mental addiction, and am almost certain i have a physical dependance because if i dont smoke i go into withdrawals, and i lose my appetite, get really depressed and just feel like shit overall< about 4 years ago i quit for a few months because i went to rehab, but couldnt stay away from it< im wondering if anyone knows how long it will take for the withdrawals to dissipate, the depression to go away and for my brain to be functioning at full capacity

I can’t eat anything without throwing up, I have a really hard time sleeping (i havent slept for 3 days) and I’m all shaky and feel dizzy alot. Everyone says weed/pot/marijuana isn’t addictive and doesn’t cause withdrawal! They’re wrong. What can I do :/

Hello. I have a problem-I have been addicted to marijuana for over 9 years and desperately want to stop because it is expensive. More importantly, to get a good job I will need to pass random drug tests. Despite my wish to stop,I have never been able to because of the depression of withdrawal and the strong cravings to use. How long does the withdrawal last? The longest I could go without using during this past year is 2 days. Whenever I am sober, I experience moderate to severe depression, mood swings, anxiety, anger, fatigue, loss of appetite, insomnia, nausea, and a diminished interest in the world. When does this start to get any better? Do you think I should seek professional help or is it just that I haven’t tried hard enough, been strong enough? I didn’t know that marijuana can be so addictive.Any help would be appreciative, but personal attacks aren’t(”if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all”)…
