When ever I go to the gym i sweat a lot and when I get back home my stomach starts hurting so i can’t really eat much which is bad because I’m trying to gain weight. I’ve been smoking marijuana for the past year everyday but I’m trying to quit, do you think my body is detoxing from the THC and thats what is upsetting my stomach? Also another thing I can’t eat much when I’m not high, its a kind of withdrawal symptom but my stomach doesn’t really hurt, only after I workout.

It changed me as a person. I have always been a proponent for the use of pot but I started to notice these things increase over time. I have laziness, short-term memory, dark circles under my eyes, sleep problems, “weirdness”, anxiety and depression, decrease in social contacts. All psychological withdrawal symptoms besides dark-circles which I think is from smoking and careless diet. I am quitting. I will say that pot inspired me creatively with music and writing but I think it has opened me up enough and I want to go back to normal and be able to not feel awkward. Don’t give me any crap about how pot is God’s drug he planted here for us and it is natural and makes you happy. You have no idea what chronic use can do to you if you say this.
I have considered suicide before…It DID lead me to other drugs. I experienced pscilocybin mushrooms numerous times as well as mescaline. I also tried salvia which was insane.
I am not saying marijuana is a terrible drug in minimal amounts. Constant everyday use is not healthy why do some people believe this? If you looked at my life before i started you would see that these things are defiinately the result of marijuana. I may have smoked alot but I am not stupid. Marijuana shortens your dendrites,(making you forgetful and slow) makes you overanalyze things (making you indecisive). It may relax you, but all the while your heart is racing, and some people can’t help but attribute this to anxiety. I also have been smoking very potent weed. Not regular swag. I have seen the same things in other people. It takes over the activities you once loved. For instance, I like to play soccer. But, then i decided i should get high and play. So then soccer became associated with getting high. Not to mention that marijuana slows your reflexes as well. I dont play soccer anymore because of my symptoms.

What is the technical explanation for headaches among individuals withdrawing from Marijuana ( Cannabis ) use?

I know headaches are among the symptoms that many people do experience upon withdrawal from SMOKING (and no other methods, for this questions purpose for now) and I know that they start within about 24 hours of withdrawal and last a few days (or occasionally longer due to prolonged heavy use) and intensify after day 2 till they slowly subside.

I do know the brain itself cannot feel any pain, hence i’m curious to know what is exactly causing and what is exactly feeling this pain.

What I’m interested in, is the technical explanation and the biological cause of this pain. Let’s say, the individual has reported repeatedly that the pain occurs after every instance of withdrawal from regular use, and is ONLY felt in the area immediately behind the forehead (It’s certainly not felt deeper than 2 inches from the scalp). mostly on the right and left sides of the forehead and hardly ever around the center; the areas above both eyes basically.

the pain is not quite constant, it seems that it’s intensity is ever-changing and it feels the most intense near the eyebrows (where the forehead has a mild tiny bump right above-behind the eyebrows).

Now, i wanna find out what is it that’s causing this pain and which parts of the head are feeling this and why. Is the pain due to changes in blood vessels? is it coming from any other part of the brain? or maybe it’s just due to neurochemical changes? and if the brain itself cannot feel the pain, then what is feeling this pain? the skull? the eyes? the blood vessels themselves?

I appreciate people who treat others with etiquette, respect and logic. PLEASE ONLY ANSWER the question directly and PLZZZZ for your beloved Jesus’s sake AVOID all that PROPAGANDA talk. This is a question with an answer, I’m sure and the answer is not “just say no to pot” ok? so lets behave like adults and get to the bottom of this scientifically!

okay i went through marijuana withdrawal twice. the first time it went away in a week. the second time it took a little longer. today was my 32nd day without weed. i just tried it today just to see if i would get any bad effects again, and i did. i feel anxiety now and i threw up earlier. after i threw up i felt a little bit better but i still feel the anxiety. i think ive triggered the withdrawal again and im scared. i know ive said i quit before, but i never started again, i just tried it today. i am NEVER touching marijuana ever again for the rest of my life. will these feelings go away quickly? im starting to think im going to go through what i did the last time and i really dont want to. i mean its been a month. please help me ease my mind i feel so uncomfortable.

if you quit marijuana for a while and then get withdrawal, if you do it again then the withdrawal will be worse and begin again. so if you were to wait like 5 months when its totally over could you do marijuana again with no problem? i mean i know the whole point of withdrawal is to quit for good but what would happen?

why is marijuana still illegal? Its been proven for years that the effects of alcohol on the body are far worse and more costly to treat than the effects of marijuana. Its been proven that over 90% of domestic violence cases involve alcohol, not marijuana. Withdrawal is 1000% more dangerous from alcohol than it is from marijuana which makes it a far more dangerous chemical. Besides taxes and money and subsidies and special interest groups is this decision strictly a monetary issue? Or are politicians afraid to legalize it due to the public’s ignorance of the facts and the fear that legalizing a drug will cost them votes? Sounds like the reasoning for keeping it illegal has been 100% illogical, politically ego-fed, and driven by money and not driven by what would be in the best interest of america.
