You cannot die from marijuana withdrawal but you can die from alcohol withdrawal so why is it?
why is marijuana still illegal? Its been proven for years that the effects of alcohol on the body are far worse and more costly to treat than the effects of marijuana. Its been proven that over 90% of domestic violence cases involve alcohol, not marijuana. Withdrawal is 1000% more dangerous from alcohol than it is from marijuana which makes it a far more dangerous chemical. Besides taxes and money and subsidies and special interest groups is this decision strictly a monetary issue? Or are politicians afraid to legalize it due to the public’s ignorance of the facts and the fear that legalizing a drug will cost them votes? Sounds like the reasoning for keeping it illegal has been 100% illogical, politically ego-fed, and driven by money and not driven by what would be in the best interest of america.

You can’t die from marijuana withdrawal because it’s mentally addictive. That doesn’t mean there isn’t bad aspects to it. While alcohol is just as bad IMO, it;s not as habit-forming, and if they made it illegal now, mobs would start like last time.
Sounds like somebodys a pot head. Hmmmm. Are you saying this because of me? Who told you what? How do you what you know? Or maybe I’m just paranoid. Or maybe your looking for an excuse to keep drinking……….. I think there’s a deeper meaning to this question than you let on to be. Don’ t forget the “GATEWAY DRUG” theory.
I believe it has to do with a couple things. First, the government doesn’t want to lose control of something they feel they have had under control for a long time.
Second, I think it’s about saving face. Over the years more and more people have learned that the government and school systems having been skewing results from marijuana research, on top of that they have just been plain ol’ fabricating statistics and facts.
I am not paranoid in any way, shape or form. But if you look at all the studies on marijuana and view what anti-marijuana ads (funded by our government and our tax dollars) and marijuana “education” in the schools are saying, you will see that the facts have been changed or at least worded in a very precise manner that will make someone believe something about marijuana that just isn’t true.
