Would Marijuana smokers give up there pain pills for easy access to the weed?
would the fact that a large portion of pain being overcome simply because you were able to distract yourself from it be worth throwing away most of the pills that mask it’s effect?nothing is 100%.but a chance to be withdrawal free and active is very attractive.i might get lost driving to the end of my driveway, but i probably would not loose controll of the car.and i would know where it was, that i was, lost.

It depends on the person I think. If a person is addicted to pain meds (meaning they are taking them for the high) and they want something more effective then marijuana might provide them relief. However if the person is validly using pain meds (meaning they take it for pain and pain alone) and they still hurt, marijuana is sometimes used to either wean the person off of the drugs or to help their pain ridden body to relax.
Obviously if they did they shouldn’t drive period. Anymore than they should drive under the influence of their prescription painkillers if they are narcotics. Not that long ago there was a little girl killed by a drive under the influence of nothing but pot.
I think it would save a large amount of money if marijuana was used more often to control pain. I think it should be regulated the same way oxycontin and morphine are. Especially in the case of terminal cancer patients after all they are going to die why on earth should we keep them from any medication that may help? All prescription narcotic painkillers have the potential for abuse, not just marijuana.
I would give up all my pain meds!
