This is common. I’ve seen people who are trying to quit smoking before. I think it is a withdrawl symptom. Just try to keep up with the fluids, and if I were you maybe you could join a program, or go to church. Anything to take the cravings off your mind.
Soon.
And don’t imply that you are 98 pounds and having heroin withdrawl symptoms in order to convince the kiddies here on yahoo answers that pot is on par.
If your doctor really told you to quit 6 days ago for some medical reason, then I’m sure he told you what to expect abd how to deal with it, or you have such a serious medical condition that after all those years of daily mj smoking you were finally convince to quit cold turkey because its THAT serious, and you should call your doc if you are having such symptoms of your disease.
Congratulations on deciding to quit, although on medical ground but that’s a start.

Good luck
it’ll pass, trust me! it took me about 2 weeks for 3 years of smoking but when I quit I didn’t crave it at all. just keep yourself busy with things. I know how it is not to sleep at night because of withdrawals.
one major recommendation, try exercising, trust me because you’ll be irritable all the time and weight lifting and running will help you a lot! If your a lazy ass; I would try taking up a hobby or do the things you always wanted to do.
After a few months you’ll be glad that you quitted because well I just can’t tell you becuase you need to experience it for your self.
I’ve had similar symptoms on my withdrawal. These will pass within 48-72 hours. It will be a tough ride, and if you have any anti-depressents, I highly recommend those. Just make sure you drink water, and at least attempt to eat even if you literally feel horrible. If symptoms don’t pass for longer than 4 days, there may be something else causing this instead.
good to know that there’s 1 addict less in the world. it happens as i’ve seen in people arounf me and don’t start again to disguise the symptoms. it’l go away. be patient and start a new life. All the best!
When you accept that you no longer need it. I as well quit weed on the 6th of this months cold turkey. I have been smoking about 1 ounce every 2 weeks for about 20 years and I have no shakes or any problems other the huge amounts of energy and as well I am up all night but no longer need 10 or 12 hours of sleep as I use to. I can crash at 4am and get up at 9am now without any problems. Just accept that you don’t need it and that the biggest key to success. I can say I have never felt better.
I just turned 40 and have found a huge amount of willpower I guess its because I want to live as long as I can. This new found willpower allowed me to quit smoking cigs cold turkey as well that’s been since march 6th well over 8 months, I was smoking 2 to 3 packs a day for the last 20 years and just up and quit. No shakes patches gum or pills.
I have tried seems like a 100 times with no success and the fact that here in Texas January first of this year they raised the price to 5.00 a pack helped a bunch, I was spending 450 a month and that also played a huge role helping me to quit.
Its all in the mind
Good Luck
wow, I never new there were withdraw symptons for pot. Yes, although the pot lover will keep smoking it, this news will stop people from trying it.
