How long does the initial withdrawal for marijuana last?

i’ve smoked every day basically for the past 10 years. i’ve tried to quit on numerous occasions. my withdrawal symptoms are primarily crazy dreams at night and just restlessness. i dont have insomnia so much, its just that i toss and turn all night and awake about every hour. i’m curious if anyone else has gone through this and how long do i have to deal with it until my sleep gets back to normal?
