Marijuana withdrawals trying to quit for good?
okay, so i have been smoking weed for 5 yrs now pretty heavily and i want to kick the habit for good now. I have tried to quit in the past, the longest i have gone without it is less then 2 months. I will quit but then smoke again because i have dreams about smoking, strong cravings, and stress. My question is has anyone else tried to quit and what are somethings to help with the cravings and withdrawals? like, should i be taking a supplement or something or any other tips
the withdrawals are more psychological then physical

peanut butter…. lol….. but um yeah it’s tough to quit. what happened to me is I ended up becoming addicted to food instead (sugar and chocolate) and now I am trying not to be addicted to those things. But I’ve been doing meditation to help me quit those, and that has been helping, so maybe meditation can help you too…
ive been offweed n everything else for alost a year n a half n what i did was just stay away from the ppl i used to hang out with n go to school or work out excercise i have been craving it lately but when i do i think of of gettin stoned i just thought of all the times i would get stoned n act a fool lol idk thats wat i did ….
replace the habit. Marijuana isn’t chemically addictive like say heroin or nicotine, but if you put anything into your body for 5 years your body is gonna wonder what’s going on when it stops.
replace the habit with something more productive, go for a run, do something active. it wont be easy to beat but you have to remember it is all in your mind, your body wont lash out with with-drawl symptoms any with-drawl effects you feel will be placebo.
the dreams will become less frequent and the cravings will subside, but it will take time, the most important thing is motivation. find a way to motivate yourself.
ok heres my opinion. why quit? theres nothing wrong with it. its safer than alcohol, cigarettes and over the counter medicines. don’t let people fool you into thinking you have to quit because its “bad”
You can’t get withdrawals from weed, it’s not addicting in that way. (Mentally, not physically)
So you’re really just doing it to yourself, just keep on thinking it’s all in your head, cause really it is.
Sorry there isn’t much you can do but convince yourself you don’t want it anymore.
uh, you don’t get withdrawls when it comes to stopping pot. it’s self will. simple as that.
why would u stop the inly naturarrly growing plant that helps us feel good about everything no matter what its is, can’t sleep, can’t eat, can’t the body and all the back pain
it ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLway to wa to way to way to much to deal with and a ton of pain to deaL WITH WITHOIT SOMETHING REALLY BIG TIME HELPING OUR BODS
WHATESLSE DO0 WE HAVE TO GO ON FOR WITH UR IN SOOOOO MUCH PAIN
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY IS IT ALL WORTHIT ????????
naw, supplements won’t do anything. but your body is just like, whoa, no more thc.
once you get all the thc out of your body, it’ll be better. if you want to try this, go to someplace like a gnc or vitamin/health store and check out their nyacin, or other detox systems.
