Ayurveda has a single herb to take care of this situation. Aswagandha is indicated in all such cases.

    Take Aswagandha(Withania somnifera), Satavari(Asparagus racemosa), Gokharu(Phyllanthus emblica), Vidarikand(pueraria tuberosa ), Yeshtimadhu(Licorice), Kapikachhu Seeds(

Aswagandha is brain nutrient, shodhak, vata pacifier, rasayan (anti-
ageing) or nervine tonic. Others are also harmless and cheap herb. Do not increase the proportion of any herb here.

Marijuana is a major depressant. DON’T take anything while getting off the stuff, doctor prescribed or not. You said it right by wanting to ‘fill in with something else’. Go to bed and sleep as much as you can. EATING GOOD FOOD is the major thing you need to do. LOTS of colorful veggies and colorful fruits, specially berries. Strawberries, Blueberries, a little papaya, oranges and other citrus. Don’t eat lots of sugar or breads. You mind and body needs nutrients, not empty calories. Pop a good ‘one a day vitamin’ everyday.
In a few months you will be able to socially smoke again, but for your mind’s health do not start smoking the stuff every day again, once a month or so. A lot of folks can’t handle the stuff at all. You might be one of them. Your not alone. Enjoy the holidays IN BED … say you got the flu so your people with leave you alone.
