marijuana and my boyfriend…?
is it wrong for me to want him to quit?
even though he doesn’t do anything else..
and he smokes it everyday.
and he treas me really good when he’s high?
it’s just that when he’s not high.. he wants it.. and he gets really moody. *like withdrawals from a cigarette* and even though I know he loves me, It’s the fact that It makes me feel like I can’t make him happy unless he has his weed.
is that wrong of me? should I just let him and stop bitchin at him about it, and just throw away my feelings? am I wrong for feeling that way?
we’ve been dating for five years.. and he used to smoke before.. it just wasn’t EVERYDAY.
he’s not a crackhead, all he does is weed. I mean.. is it selfish of me to want him to stop?

Is marijuana the reason I’m sick?
Ok so I’ve been smoking weed for about a year now and I smoke at least four times a day. I’m with my parents on vacation and I haven’t smoked all day today. I couldn’t eat at all, I had no appetite. I ate a little in the morning and a little bit before bed (a few minutes ago). So I tried to go to sleep but I started feeling nauseous like how you feel when you try to read in a car. All of a sudden I felt like throwing up…and boy did I. Anyways, I feel a bit better now but I’m beginning to wonder if what I have is withdrawals from weed? Any advice on how to survive without it? Any help appreciated :]]

Quitting Marijuana..common symptoms? (fellow quitters only)?
Hey guys. So, I finally decided to quit smoking weed after 3 months straight. It has not been easy, as I have been going through some physical and mental withdrawals. Did you guys feel kind of out of it the first week or so coming back to reality? Maybe irritation and depression? I know these things should pass, I just want to know if others went through the same things I did.

Friends Your Thoughts On The Importance of Border Security by Fred Thompson?
You can’t have national security without border security. It’s not only necessary for any meaningful immigration reform; border security plays a key role in both the interdiction of illegal drugs and in defending America against terrorist threats. Weak borders allow terrorists and smugglers, as well as millions of illegal aliens, easy entrance to the United States. Unfortunately, it’s not at all clear our government is committed to its first responsibility: the protection of our borders.
In June 2006 the federal government began Operation Jump Start, deploying 6,000 National Guard troops to assist the Border Patrol in securing our border with Mexico. Now, the number of National Guard troops helping as part of Operation Jump Start is being cut in half and by September 1st only 3,000 troops will still be in place.
Since Operation Jump Start began, fewer illegal immigrants are crossing our southern border. Marijuana, cocaine, and heroin seizures have increased—a reminder that better border security is an essential part of drug interdiction. Tightening control of our southern border may also be a factor in the lack of additional terrorist attacks in the United States since September 11, 2001. Clearly the National Guard’s presence on our border with Mexico has been a success.
While the drawdown of the National Guard troops participating in Operation Jump Start was scheduled since the beginning of the operation, the troops were supposed to be replaced by 6,000 new U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. These replacements, called for by President Bush, would increase the total number of agents from 12,000 to 18,000. However, recruitment has been slow and continuing with the planned withdrawal of the National Guard is significantly reducing manpower on the border.
We’ve found a successful strategy for increasing border security. We need to advance it, not retreat from it. The President got the message and last week announced a new set of initiatives to combat illegal immigration. Having failed for years to solve our illegal immigration problem and protect our borders, however, Congress and the President need to keep the National Guard in place until we meet the goal of 18,000 border agents.

Does anyone know what happened to my friend? He smoked a marijuana joint given to him by a jealous co-worker.?
About a week later he began getting severe withdrawal symptoms that included hallucinations, psychosis, severe depression, tremor, panic, anxiety, among many other symptoms.
Many of these symptoms are gone now, but over 7 months later he is still experiencing tremor and severe depression and other mental problems. What is going on? Can his joint have been laced with something really potent? Will he ever return to normal? He was hospitalized for several weeks, but got no answer as to what specifically is wrong with him (his blood tests showed traces of PCP and cocaine). Anyone have any idea?

How long does it take for withdrawal symptoms to go away?
I smoke, what I would say to be, a lot of weed. About 3 blunts a day (1.5 grams per blunt) Today is day 1 of no more marijuana. But I feel HORRIBLY depressed, frustrated, and intolerably bored. Suffering from insomnia, food taste like sh*t now and I am having a very difficult time being optimistic.
I quit because I think the psychoactive properties in the weed is screwing with my head. I feel really paranoid about everything. I draw the craziest conclusions out of nothing. idk…
My friend said not to quit, for it will make things worse. (he explained to me moderation is the way to go..but to be honest I feel weed is the root of my problems..seeing as all my main problems started around the time i picked up weed as a habit)
Or maybe I have some kind of disorder and weed is amplifying it. idk..but i just want to be happy again =[ and btw when im high my social skills are pathetic. and now they seem to be bad when im sober.
I hope this blows away in a week and im back to normal!
